Are we allowed to use and edit Game Assets from League of Legends to use in Youtube Videos as long as we do not monetize any of it or claim them as our own? I want to choreograph and animate some fight scenes using champions from League of Legends, however, if this is not allowed, I will need to know.
I'm pretty sure they just straight don't care because it's basically free advertising for them, even if you do monetize it. I mean, hell, they worked with Nevercake and several other YouTube animators who make League content to actually make real animations advertising their game.
They have also actively promoted Instalok, who use League assets and gameplay footage to make music videos on YouTube.
