So, apparently Ochnun the dark tongue of whispers and death is German. The more you know.
I’m now picturing a bunch of ghosts haunting humans just to say gesundheit, and calling each other schweinehund.
So there are some retcons, namely morde has no longer has direct links to shadow isles and his current-lore state is him being stuck in the afterworld biding his time rather than in the material world. One notable addition is morde allowing himself to be betrayed by leblanc so that he could make use of the souls he accumulated in his afterworld.
Honestly I like Sahn-Uzal more than Mordekaiser. Sound's cooler imo. Also it sounds more like some lost language of the dead than Mordekaiser does.
I'm wondering why they kept his color text as it was considering that now there is no connection between him and the Black Mist.
The bio is great but 2 things I liked about the old one: Mordekaiser always being his name (Although technically it was anyways so....and I like that his old mortal self died and he was reborn). I also preferred him being empowered by the shadow isles and being part of the mist. Plus him not being part of it doesn't explain his spooky green glow. He is still awesome and his lore is great but being a Shadow Isles champ makes him even cooler rather than just Noxus.
Does this mean, he isn't the one commanding the Black Mist during a Harrowing?
If this is the case, the Ruined King still has a chance being relevant in the lore, which is kinda nice I guess.
