Wolf reveled in the boy’s scream and crunching bones. Lamb, who had trailed behind, laughed to see such sport. Wolf turned and asked, in a voice more growl than speech, “Is this music, Lamb?”

“It is to you,” she answered.

“Again,” Wolf licked the last drop of the youth’s life from his canine jaws. “I want to chase again, little Lamb.”

“There are always more,” she whispered. “Until the day there is only Kindred.”

“And then will you run from me?”

Lamb turned back to the battle. “I would never run from you, dear Wolf.”

Ok Riot, you **HAVE **to make a Heartseeker or Sweetheart skin for Kindred for next Valentine.

Why would she run if she's the acceptance of death?

Probably it means Wolf is going to die too if Lamb dies. In other phrase, Wolf is going to suicide with killing Lamb. That's pretty sad and equally beautiful end.

Not possible.

If you accept death, you get Lamb's arrows. If you run from death, you get Wolf's fangs.

Lamb would accept her end.

Wolf only goes for those who try to avoid it. She honestly said, "Bitch, can't touch this." Wolf can't chase lamb if she doesn't run, so they'll be there...til the end of time.

I think it's their philosophy, doesn't mean they can't kill without accepting or running away. There can be a little expection while it's not a basic, regular deal. They're left alone in whole universe. It never happened.

Also it's confirmed, they have an end.

There will be a draw in the extended Lore about pre-split Kindred? Or sometimes in the future?

Probably not. The story of the Pale Man is not intended to be literal, but a coded origin story, one most likely made up by people, and therefore it grasps certain truths but fails in the details.

Wait a minute...If Kindred believes every life's only temporary and everything's got a beginning and an end, does it imply they themselves can "die"?

I love the way you think. I don't think Kindred die in the way that humans/mortal life on Runeterra do, but I do think they have an "end''.

So when Wolf kills the boy, is there a parallel "rational" cause of death accompanying it? Would it seem like he was actually killed by an invisible beast, or would he seem to have died of a fall/an attacker/etc, like the actors killed by robbers in A Good Death, or the soldier that was simultaneously shot by Lamb and cut down by an axe?

Yup, the bandits killed the actors. Whether the players of the Mechanicals accepted their deaths or ran from them (figuratively) determined how they pass, whether through Lamb or Wolf.

When it comes to Kindred, I feel the only one who can properly die is Lamb. I say this because if something comes to try and murder her, and SOMEHOW succeeds, all it would take from her to impale herself with her own arrow. She'd accept it.

Wolf on the other hand. Either he'll be forever lonely, or he's going to thrash about violently until he's beaten himself (or realize he's a coward and runs just to be cut down by the attacker).

Still not sure any of that is possible, though.
