Improved VFX for champions on TFT?

Just noticed that Ahri on TFT has a new animation (VFX) on her Q. Is this a general improvement only for TFT because of clarity or will this be an update to her old VFX that will come soon onto the Rift?

Since Riot is currently updating a lot of old champion's spells (VFX), I'm pretty sure Ahri will also be allowed in the upcoming patches, so maybe it's in progress and that's why we're seeing a new Q on TFT.
