I have very mixed feelings about the global splash change

I really like a lot of the splash arts that Rito has made, and I am very sad to see them being replaced by Tencent our new overlords. I mean, some of them like most of the MF splashes(besides Cowgirl) and Headhunter Master Yi look nice, but on the whole I dislike this splash change and I would like to have an explanation for why most of these splashes are being changed to the Chinese versions instead of vice versa(all hail our Chinese overlords)
