Now that I think about it also makes Teemo look like the spoiled younger brother of 
Goat legs are also a common portrayal of demons and/or Satan. Goes back to the term "scapegoat" from Jewish tradition (at a certain feast day (I forget which), the high priest would take a goat, and the people would "transfer" their sins to it, and then release it into the wild. It was another form of sacrifice.)
Also because Pagan gods were demonized with the inception of CHristianity and one of the pagan gods which were supposed to represent freedom and creativity (Pan a satyr) was demonized and used as a portrayal of Satan. So...ja!
