Some karthus changes that would be nice if put in the game.

A while ago i started playing karthus and i wanted to buy a skin for him while grim reaper karthus splash looks sick but he looks nothing like the splash in game and i think thats falce advertising. Another thing id buy pentakill karthus because of what he says when he ult but why not make it so that everyone on the map hears what karthus says when he ults i think it would be a nice change. The problem i have with grim reaper karthus is that he just looks like an old man in game. If riot could just make the skin look in game as it does in the splash it would be such a cool skin.

they don't have plans to update Karthus, but he is on the list for new splashes

Because one, it's not an advertisement. It's a splash, one that is meant to give you an idea of what the skin looks like. Pentakill Karthus has a mike, long hair, and metal spikes. Grim Reaper has his hood and scythe. Statue of Liberty has it's Torch and green robe. It's meant to give you a visual image. If you don't care what you actually buy, and buy from the splash alone, that's on you. Especially when Skin Spotlights exist.

And then there's just the obvious reason of your own raised expectations, and the fact that his splash arts are old as shit. Riot can not help if you think something is different than what it really is.

a splash is meant to give you an idea of what the skin looks like and the grim reaper splash isnt even that old its from the chinese server. but they advertise the skin as grim reaper and as a skeleton in the splash eventho the skin isnt a skeleton in game. Thats like buying elderwood hecarim and when you get in game hes not forest based hes still an undead horseman. look at any splash in the game a splash gives you an idea of what the skin looks like in game aswell and wants to make you buy the skin. Grim reaper splash makes me want to buy th skin but it looks like an old man in game. You said riot cant help if i think something is different then it really is, but that is so untrue i didnt think that grim reper should be a skeleton in-game i saw it on the splash.

the cloak and the scythe dont make the skin into grim reaper what does is th combination of everythin him being a skeleton and the scythe and cloak . the grim reaper skin that is in game now is more like lich karthus or something not the grim reaper.

And you cant tell me to go to an outside sorce to actually see what the skin looks like splash arts should give you an idea of what the skin looks like so you dont have to use an outside source. a splash sells the skin thats why it has a splash art its like an ad for the skin but this ad gives out falce information

Yeah they didn't update the skin splashes for Karthus when he got a visual update. However they are updating the skin splashes of champs who received a visual update once and didn't get their splash arts updated back then,so Karthus is on their to-do list(though miss fortune was confirmed to be the next one)
