The splash art has her trademark markings beneath her eyes. Yet neither her icon nor her in-game skin have them.
Huh.. Yet another reason it never felt like a Karma skin for me.
Unfortunately that's the kind of standard that has been set by icons. 'Champion' Summoner Icons are often pretty ugly tbh. Have you looked at the Super Galaxy Shyvana Icon? She has no nose, it's such a crack up.
On top of that Karma is a really weird champion. The skins, designs and balance teams all hate her, yet they don't really let her die.
The skin is just really weird and I don't know why they made it the way they did. The Splash is still pretty garbage despite the changes, but at least she's black now I guess.
Riot doesn't care that much lol
They touched up the splash (which looked very unfinished anyway) and changed it so it "looked more like Karma" and the art team has only 2 brain cells so that translated to giving her eye make-up that wasn't present in the model or icon. Literally, all skin splash art of hers have very obvious things not found in their models that are missing,straight up wrong,etc.
