Swain and his Cane

First of all let me start by saying that I love this rework. Swains voice lines, his overall design and the effects on his abilities look great. That being said, I have one major issue : The lack of his cane. I know that Swain now has a magic hand that replaced his natural one after it was cut off, so in a way he is still a cripple. The thing is that the cane added something to his character, it gave him air of authority and refinement. It also was a great visual indicator that he might not physically be very strong, but that his power came from his intelligence. Keeping his cane would be a awesome way to drive that point home. Staffs and canes always symbolize power and command. Just think of Long John Silver with his crutch, Gandalf with his staff and Emperor Palpatine and Doctor House with their canes. That fact also goes for the real world. Throughout the centuries Generals and Admirals were depicted on paintings with rods, staffs or walking sticks to symbolize their power. I know that Swains cane still appears when you start his dance animation, but I personally think that his walking stick should be part of his character model. It is as much a part of him as Twisted Fate’s hat is a part of TF or Graves cigar.

I truly wonder what the rest of you think about this.

(Oh, and then there is this : So Graves can have a cigar, but Swain can’t have a cane ?! WTF RITO [zombie-brand-clap] )
