I'm not sure if Kalista died or not in her updated lore but if she did, what did Kindred do during her death?

Pretty much what they've always done, been there as it happened.
Kindred is literally Death, after all.
I suppose that, to try and make sense of the stated order of events, we have to assume that Kalista not only ran from Wolf but evaded his jaws long enough to be torn from his grasp when the Black Mist was unleashed upon the Blessed Isle.
If Kindred and Kalista spoke at all it presumably would have centred on her refusal to pass on while the traitor, Hecarim, went unpunished for his crimes.
