Darkin vs Demons who are more powerful?

There are tons of demons in Runeterra, for example kill them with no problem.

In other hand there are only 5 Darkin left.

Maybe there are demons who are stronger than darkins, but generally, they are not.

Asking if demons are powerfull is like asking if spirits are powerfull... Yes, there are spirits that have godlike powers, but most of them do not have such power.

Depends on what demon? Or their goals more precisely. Darkin (Aatrox mainly, rest seem pretty pants) are powerful but seem just raw power, what does that mean really? He can smash a man with a sword? Good job. Sure he's powerful for a walking corpse but he's still human, if Tahm Kench makes him an offer, tricks him, plays with him, Tahm wins. Tahm wouldn't fight, he'd manipulate the situation.

hmm its hard to tell like i think if a demon snuck up on a darkin i think they would be able to take one on, on the other hand if the darkin can see or sense them coming i feel like the darkin would be able to kill a demon pretty easily, i mean aatrox killed an aspect so. Depends good question.

Darkin because they’re practically ascended being that we’re trapped and are now very angry and can even kill targonian aspects. Compared to a demon like Evelynn or kench I don’t think it’s much of a competition

darkin as far as we know. demons such as Evelynn can only harm those she successfully seduces, not sure about tahm Kench though.

but I'm gonna be honest script or stack. you have made posts like this before, and it will always be the same answer. we dont have enough information to know who would win, hell I dont know how strong evelynn is when she can actually harm someone

Darkins obviously. They are basically corrupted Ascended. The strongest of them, Aatrox, killed Pantheon, but not the host, the CONCEPT ITSELF. Demons have no feats nor statements that can compare them to Ascended or Darkins

Well i mean if aatrox can kill a literal god in the form of mantheon, then im gonna assume as of right now darkin are stronger.

I dont think either could simply kill the other. It would be like the most awkward kind of stalemate.

A demon could manipulate or leech off a Darkin's emotions as it feels like the Darkin would be susceptible once they've got a host form. But the more important question, can the demon still consume that Darkin when its contained in an inanimate object? But fuck, if Kayn can theoretically out-dominate Rhaast's consciousness, you'd think a demon have more capability.

But then like, a Darkin should only be capable of expelling or trapping a demon through it's magic as it feels unlikely that Demon's are truly killable, since a few of them are incorporeal if not they're still beings of (negative) spiritual emotions. Plus you'd think a demon intelligent enough not to over expose themselves to a Darkin. If so the Darkin would need to have knowledge of, as well as, pre-equipped with the right material to deal with demonic spirits. But that would require the right host to begin with.

Darkin are celetial tier while demons are just spirits that are evil. Seen no indication that an "evil spirit" like Tahm or Eve is any stronger than a good one like Janna or Ornn or what have you
