idk how to put images in this thing but

malzahar has gone through three splash art iterations. a while back, for his last one, he went from kinda hot to some kind of void monster. I understand that the void is supposed to be icky creepy and scary but i feel like that isnt a fair reason to make malz a monsterous champ anymore. kai sa is a void human and shes hot. i think the game would benefit from more hot male mage champions like sylas. making male chamions who are hot to not is not de wae. please take a look at malz's second of three splash arts and a few of his other skins. he is muscular and he has nice eyes and hair. please dont make him into some weird floaty homunculus thank u riot

current malzahar iteration is extremely hot and if you disagree you frankly have bad taste. that being said, if and when he does get vu/vgu'd i'd appreciate if they kept the dark mage hunk aesthetic

As stupid as it is I chose malz as my beginner champ just because of how much I liked this splash art. [sg-lux]

And then I was introduced to his ingame model. Talking about misleading advertisement. [slayer-jinx-unamused]

Idk if OP is joking or not but new Malz is fucking disgusting and idek how it makes sense. He never even got 'corrupted' by the void like Kai'sa did. He is supposed to be a cult leader. Cult leaders are notoriously gorgeous and charming.

He deserves a full visual update (and a revert on his kit) and I WANT HOT MALZAHAR BACK. D: I commissioned so much artwork of hot Malz, and then they made that horrible splash of him, ruined his kit, and literally single-handedly destroyed my favorite part of the game. I basically stopped playing because Malzahar isn't hot anymore.

Riot pls. Let me objectify him. He floats ffs. Everyone wants a hot, floaty boyfriend with a six pack and sexy hair and glowing eyes. He... was so... hot.

If they make him hot, then they should go the bishounen-line with him.

He is a mage that used to make money with his magic, there is literally no reason for him to be muscular.

Also while charisma makes sense for a cult leader, I'd say that good looks aren't really necessary,especially not if they are worshipping an eldritch-horror-dimension. Cult leaders that worship the eldritch are often heavily mutated themselves, so that their designs alone already gives you a taste of whats to come.

All in all if Riot wanted to give us the best of both options they should give Malzahar 2 models. Make it so that normally he is his good-looking and charismatic self, but when his passive is up you see the body horror that has happened to him that is normally kept hidden. Granted from a gameplay perspective it'd make more sense the other way around(let him show his true colors if his shield is broken), but this sounds more plausible given that his passive surrounds him with void energy

New Malzahar looks awesome to me. Floating homunculus champions are underrated. Narratively I don’t see the problem, he has been warped by the void so his appearance makes sense.
