Every champion is the main character of their region. If they don't have a region they're still the main character. The perspectives might shift with the stories told but they're all as important as each other.

Technically, J4 is the leader of Demacia, Darius, Leblanc, and Swain, control most of Noxus, Azir is the "true" ruler of Shurima, Karma is an Ionian leader, Ashe, Sejuani, and Lissandra fight each other for control of the Freljord, and Camille is part of the shadow government of Piltover.

If I were to make a certain champion a main character, it would be: Demacia- Garen Noxus- Riven Ionia- Yasuo Shurima- Taliyah Mount Targon- Diana Piltover- Jayce Zaun- Ekko / Viktor Bilgewater- MissFortune Shadow Isles- Yorick / Lucian Void- Kassadin Freljord- Nunu
