Just curious if he's on the list for a smaller update along with Fiddle, Syndra & co. He seems to be on the shorter end of viability for a while now and he haven't received much love lately. Please do something for him.

I think Cho'Gath is very good right now. I actually can't believe he is getting buffed. I will take it though.

I wonder if Riot even considers him a real mage at this point(or if they want him to be one). He might be seen more as an AP-juggernaut

No. He won't be considered. The MYMU is for TRUE immobile mages aka mages that will burst you on their standard build path. Cho will not do this unless fed, but so will anyone lol.

Brand will 100-0 someone if he pulls his full combo off with only 2 or 3 items (maybe not even). True mage. Zyra COULD 100-0 someone if she got her full combo off. True mage. Vel'Koz will 100-0 someone if he lands all his skills and finishing with a disintegrating ult. True mage.

Cho is considered an AP tank and he's also melee. All mages are ranged. So if they count him, he'll be one of the last on the list.

He gets little buffs the PBE. Same goes for Kha'Zix. The problem with these two: if you overbuff them they will get banned 24/7 (looking at you Kassadin) and if you overnerf them they become olaf'd until they get put back in their normal states. So you can only change little numbers on such champions until you really give them a full VGU.

Kha'Zix doesn't need one, he is really good but sadly underplayed and the cooldown buffs really help him in the jungle a lot. Cho'Gath gets a bit more health per feast stack, just a little thing like the Kha cooldown buffs. Cho in fact does need a VGU. We can hope Cho getting some love in the future until then we can atleast accept one thing. CHANGE IS GOOD.
