So Riot/ Scathe, what ended up happening with Shyv’s bio on your database?

I don’t use twitter, but I remember a series of particularly noteworthy posts on the SAS boards which featured a tweet from Scathe claiming Shyvanna’s old bio wasn’t the same as what you had on your database. I never heard any followup on what happened there, and I think it’s at least some what important that you address it. Just a comment saying “it was the only outlier, the rest matches up” or “we are looking into it and making sure we have the same things you guys have” so we know this won’t happen again.

The biggest or perhaps most common complaint I see is that if the lore is constantly changing, getting invested in a character isn’t worth it. I was of the belief that once a character was retconned, aside from short clarification changes, they wouldn’t be retconned again. I’m glad that you guys didn’t attempt to make big changes to Shyv’s lore and thought it was just a small change, but that is not what we perceived (until we found out your database was inconsistent with the universe).

Just some comment to let us know that this won’t happen again or what we can expect. Your philosophy on which groups of champions are fair game for being retconned and the degree to which they might be changed would be nice as well, although not as necessary. I love the lore, but a sense of permanence is kind of needed for it to feel legit.
