Lore Stories That Inspire You

So today as part of my creative writing final each student was tasked with bringing in a short piece of writing that inspires us as writers. Naturally, I brought in The Cage by the ever awesome Odin/WAAARGHbobo. Even aside from my immense Aatrox bias I think it's a really great and chilling piece, the rest of the class seemed interested and engaged by it as well. ~~I could go in depth about what makes this piece so great, but really that's a whole other thread that I'll save for another day.~~

In any case this task got me curious about what other lore stories might inspire others: So, SA&S pals, are there any lore stories that inspire you? If so share them below!

The lore stories of League in general made me want to get back into writing and character/world development. I've drawn and written more in the 2 years since I started playing League than I have in a long time.

That being said, though, the only stories I can really say inspire me are Jhin's. Still give me chills.

I like "Puboe Prison Break" / "Nothing rhymes with Tubebow" because they portray the unique relationship between the two. Their lore contribution for Ionia may be small, but it's still a great story told through an interesting medium (different perspective). I'm also biased but who cares?

Ekko's Chronobreak. Pretty great story. Does about 90 Do-Overs to try to save his friend. Sprinting and jumping for over 7 hours but still fails.
