Taliyah: thoughts

Hey, just wanted to compile a couple of things after playing Taliyah on the PBE.

I found her lots of fun and very smooth (I felt a bit like a mage version of Kindred).

That being said, I have a couple of things I didn't like and would like to share in order to give the developers feedback and have them educate me on where I am wrong...:P

Things I would like to see changed:

  1. I found the Q soil indictor to be too hard to differentiate between yours and the enemies (aside from when you are standing in your own). In addition, I found that the colour of the area when you are in it didn't really feel like they fit with her style (more like a scorched earth feel rather than dug up earth). I think you could make it look softer when you are in the patch and maybe bolder when you are out (maybe only bolder for Taliyah and not the whole game)

  2. I feel like the E doesn't look different enough between yours and the enemies. In the hectic team fights I couldn't really tell who's was who's. Maybe it was just me but some more differentiation would be nice.

  3. I noticed that her ult wall doesn't have the look of a monstrous earth wall and seems a bit overshadowed by regular terrain. I think that making it taller or maybe a but rougher would give it the "holy s**t thats cool" look. Just to clarify I love her ulti and the lack of damage doesn't bother me it just feels like it needs a cooler aesthetic (not that it isn't cool, it could just be better).

All in all, I found Taliyah to be super fun! Definitely my favourite champ to be released in a long time (maybe since Ekko?). Big thanks to ZenonTheStoic and everyone else who had a part in her development!

Edit: I watched some gameplays and it appears the the worked ground looks much less harsh in them. Maybe my game was glitched or some such thing.

You ought to put this in the gameplay section.

Yeah but in real games you will never play against another Taliyah unless you do blind pick, but they should probably just make the indicators a bit clearer anyway.
