Frozen Shen needs more contrast! No more monochrome, like the old model also was!

Frozen Shen has so little contrast that the different parts are hard to discern from each other. He needs more contrast! In comparison to Yellow Jacket Shen, he looks rather dull at the moment. I also miss clearer blue colours, as Sub-Zero has never been this washed-out blue-gray. In MK Decption he wears an outfit with a blue colour that is close to this, but the rest of the armour like his metal belt, metal helmet, shoulder guards, chainmail and the fur around his neck provide contrast. Frozen Shen has a monochrome palette, and the mask, belt and sword are almost lost inside it. Please Riot, fix this now that you have the chance!

Lazy Edit - if Riot has limited time http://i.imgur.com/cctpjvB.png The shiny areas are left alone (mainly the vest), and only the areas that really help with clearity are changed. The sword only has the blue ice centre. I woul presonally prefer one of the three Ice Sword edits, but this is better than nothing in my opinion.

i like your edit with the lighter blue on the chest area but that bright ice blue on the hilt on the sword looks not to good in my opinion... buuuut the blue line in the middle looks amazing on the sword*[slayer-pantheon-rainbows]*

I uploaded two new pictures where I have edited the sword to make it more exciting:

  • The guard is now pure ice, rather than dull grey
  • The centre of the sword is either dark metal, or clear, blue ice (which one do you like the most?) :)

Love your edits! Maybe the muted colors are intentional though? Grey's a color of balance; it's neither black nor white, which seems fitting for a character like Shen who's all about equilibrium.

I like the colours on your "Lazy Edit" Vest better than the other one. Better contrast and more balanced. The frost on the guard would look nice here too.

For the sword I like the blue line and dark hilt best, the bright hilt again lacks contrast and the ice hilt is glaring.

I really like your edits on this shen. In my opinion the Dark Metal guard is pretty nice. Keep up the good work Stig. I really hope that riot might think about some of these examples.
