I think for a moment Riot was considering doing a small-scale Noxus event with Urgot update but have recently decided not to due to the amount of dedication and energy a Noxus update will take. This is great by me. A good story is good forever (and a bad one is bad forever or until another retcon) and they should take as much time as they need.

It's been months since the Vastaya update. And they stated they wont to a burning tides anymore.

Yeah it was said already that we shouldn't expect too much from the Urgot release,so either we get only a very small Noxus update with it,a second Zaun update covering Singed & Twitch(if any champ would change their faction with a VGU,then it's likely Urgot) or just no event at all.

Personally I think they might be waiting for Swains VGU before they do a Noxus update(and its likely too soon for a second Zaun update),so I think that Urgot will most likely come with no event at all.

It is also unlikely that Evelynn will come with an event, since we have already updated lores for all the shadow isles champions.(Though depending on Eves species they might do a race-related update like they did with the Vastaya).

So our best chances for a lore update are the new champs that'll be released in the second half of the year.

And because of that,I think the factions who have the best chances to get an update this year are the void, bandle city(or maybe a Yordle-update in general) and the freljord(they got a story update in 2013,but that update is already outdated again) if any of them gets a new champion. Ionia seems unlikely since they've got already 2 champs this year and the other factions got already at least one lore update.
