Anyone have an idea of what Nasus is doing?

I'm curious about what Nasus is doing in the current lore.I know he's aiming to release his Bro from his madness,but is that it?

Is he simply wandering around Runeterra,or just the Shuriman Desert?Does he get involve with other people or is he more like an observer? Azir back,so does that mean Nasus is helping him with the GREAT SHURIMAN RESTORATION OF SHURIMA project,which needs some more SHURIMA in the name BTW,or something? Or is he so focused on his goal of killing Renekton that he can't be bothered with anything else?

I'm just curious what do people think what life the Curator of the Sands is living.Personally,I think a good idea for a story arc is where Nasus help some kid find his brother because he understand how the child feel.And along the way they run into Renekton & blah blah blah.Just my idea for a story concept that allows us to learn more about Nasus CHARACTER. Anyone have their own ideas?

And no,I'm not asking the lore team to get involve.I'm not going to hold my breathe for them.I know it won't happen.

EDIT:Reading through the comments so far,many agree Nasus would fall along the line of a silent observer,who silently observe events rather than involve himself.People say he would focus on dealing with Renekton above all else. So,new question:What type of stories can Nasus have in this new lore?I'm sure more can be done with him than his confrontation with Renekton.

I think, right now, Sivir's trying to get answers from him. I'd wager Nasus had a hand in the preservation of Azir's bloodline, so she'd want to grab him and get a grasp of things properly.

On what he's personally doing, yeah he's likely trying to figure out how to A. save Renekton and B. deal with Xerath. He's an enigma, a legendary and almost mythical figure in modern Shurima, so he's likely not having any personal dealings with the local population. Also since Nasus is the guy who says "Burdens sleep best in their tombs." and "Some things must remain buried." He's probably not a fan of Azir being back. He'd likely have preferred everything stayed buried, I mean he did see his people's greatest power in ascension absolutely destroy them, so he's smart enough to realize a repeat isn't a good idea.

Also Nasus probably spend a lot of time thinking instead of doing. He seems like that kinda guy.

Well Nasus seems to think alot so I would assume that he spends alot of time thinking rather than doing. It is pretty obvious what he is thinking about, his brother, Xerath, and most recently the rise of Shurima with Azir being back and Ascended an all. Character wise its hard to say how he really is if you just use the lore, Nasus is one of the few Champions that you actually learn alot about if you play as him. Its obvious he waits for things to roll out an act upon them, I think the better question isn't what hes doing but rather what he ***wants *** to do.

I think Nasus and Zilean could get along. Nasus could begin rebuilding his library with Zilian's knowledge, and he would be strong enough to protect Zillian from Velkoz. Not to mention since they both are immortal, they could keep each other company.

I think Nasus is more the kind of observer who waits and observes how things are gonna turn out. With Azir and the rebuilding of his shuriman empire, he is waiting how that is gonna turn out for Shurima as a whole. Since he was the only one to be free during Xeraths imprisonment, he has most likely thought about the Empire and how it could fall down so easily. Given that from Azirs Q&A's we also know that Nasus also doesn't like Azir for his pride, he will maybe look out for the development of Azir's rebuilding project. Maybe while also searching for trails of both Xerath and Renekton.

Most the other comments here are on mostly the same direction. Nasus would have had a very long time to ponder over what he could of done better and how things are going to continue on now, like the aftermath of a loved one dying. Suddenly bam, that loved one is back, and crazy, and ready to kill you. It would be prudent to assume in light of so much recent happenings after a very long time of silence, our canine curator is taking the time to do what he does best. He will ponder over the situation before taking action. Afterward though, family is more important then politics or empires and Renekton will most likely be his first foray, avoiding any contact with Azir so as to not give him the opportunity to invite Nasus to join in the glorious rise of SHURIMA!

I like to think he's helping Azir restore Shurima, but in a "I'm not doing it for you" sort of attitude. The "Shurima: Rise of the Ascended" video states that Azir "can save them all", but that doesn't mean Nasus is going to forget about what happened (even though it was Xerath who took advantage of Azir's arrogance and sabotaged the Ascension Ritual).

The thing is: We don't know and won't know until Narrative says something.

I would suggest that Nasus would be hesitant to be a complete slave to Azir, miraculous return or not. Dealing with the savagery of an insane Renekton and the power of Xerath would be more pressing than rebuilding Shurima and swearing fealty to the Armored Bird Guy.
