With the release of Dragon Trainer Tristana, Lulu's dragon trainer skin was updated to look nicer so it wouldn't be such a stark contrast.

If Riot thought her objectively BEST face/colors pre-update needed a touch up to look not bad, what does that say about the rest of her skins? I own every single one of them, and all of them look creepy and unsettling, even her pool party skin. She used to be in the pot with Tristana and Poppy, but now shes the only female Yordle who looks disturbing. Look at her.

I love all of her designs. I love her as a character, I love her splash arts, and I love her kit, but PLEASE give her a visual rework or at least some updates so her face doesn't look god awful.

I would love for Lulu to get the Poppy treatments where they actually animate the face. Think of the expressions Lulu would be using!

As a Lulu main, I couldn't agree more. A VU is needed for her all together. And don't even get me started on this:

Honestly I think the most disturbing skin in contrast is her Star Guardian one. Compare it to Poppy's, whose face moves and makes various expressions...

And with the same art style have a stagnant face that doesn't really move besides maybe a wink and some laughing. I feel like if they did a face overhaul similar to Poppy's I'd be completely ok with that skin (and it'd be an improvement overall) but as it stands I only pick it for other team members who are going to use it. The lack of facial expressions in comparison is... unsettling.

That wasn't Riot that updated DT Lulu though. It was a single dev who took it home with him and updated it for free, since he liked the skin too and felt it could be better (major kudos to that guy).

And VU's don't make money, so it won't happen. : / At best you'll get a skin that updates her model, like SG did somewhat.
