today's PBE update includes new splashes for Karma and God Fist Lee Sin

All three were started by our outsourcing art team though and then finished up by the splash art team internally.

One of the splash artists on ChampUp. She worked on Blade Mistress Morgana, Royal Guard Fiora, Barbarian Sion, all 3 Karma Splashes, Tundra Warwic, Leopard Nidalee, just to name a few

uh, there are still loads of crappy splashes...

I mean, even some of the new ones have received some major community backlash (for instance, people HATED the new ahri and Kat splashes).

I still hate the new Ahri splash just as much as I did the day they forced it through the PBE. Even though they had twice the amount of time it takes to make a brand new splash to fix what was wrong with the first attempt, they gave us something worse (the face is still horrible,) and didn't want to miss the deadline or whatever happened.

Now we have to wait for her VGU for a new splash, and even then, since it's been updated already, it probably won't happen, and if it does, I half expect them to give her blue eyes instead of yellow. (Yes, I'm also still very upset about A New Dawn.)

New dawn. Aka we Reworked ahri as an assassin and suddenly her playrate dropped to less than half because everyone hates her kit. Let's make a video to save face and change her back to a kite mage.

Some of us thought the Kiss of Death interaction was the best thing that ever happened to her, so I dunno about "everyone" hating it. I'd argue that that the playrate dropped partly because you were punished for being bad at hitting your skillshots and mindlessly spamming. Now it's the exact opposite - you're rewarded for spamming and running around like an idiot.

I'm talking about new ones, but people who hate the kat splash are just plain stupid. I agree on ahri somewhat. her face is just so blank. its actually why I like the kat one, its full of personality

The new Kat looked like a crack head when they first released it, then they did a LOT of work on it and it looks solid now.

Not quite the same as the old one, but it's passable.

Where's the fix to Shen's taunt hitbox? How much longer do we need to wait until he gets the crucial change he needs?

Also why are you giving Lee of all people a legendary skin whereas Cassiopeia, a champion who hasn't had a single skinrelease in over 4 (!) years, doesn't see the slightest bit of love? The sheer bias is simply unreal.

The splashart is amazing. The elephant in the room though is the fact that the skins themselves are still crap. What are you going to do about that? Nothing. You are going to work on Ryze 4 more times. You can sit here and ask for praise. The splashart is incredible but the in-game models are still bad, never touched, and poorly executed. What are you doing about that? Nothing.

I like them but feel Order of the lotus tweak is unnecessary and a bit unfitting. She looks pissed off instead of looking like she is in some meditative trans that original portrayed better.

While I understand the tweak to her Lotus' face is to unify all of her new splash arts, she does look like she's giving a death stare to a person off screen for farting while she's trying to meditate.

God fist lee sin is so yellow and bright...like literally sticks out as a yellow blur on the in game model. (splash looks great though) Honestly if he actually looked closer to the splash that would be awesome
