Does this sound familiar. A slave in a desert empire befriends an heir to the throne. Over time the two bond and even could be called brothers. Then the slave yearns fro freedom for his people. The ruler refuses. Through magic many die and in some way, the slave's people are free. To kick-start your memory, can you imagine Xerath yelling "LET MY PEOPLE GO!". I realized a while ago that Xerath is kinda Moses in a way. Just an interesting way of looking at things.
