Future for master yi

With all of the changes and updates to Ionian champions such as i have to wonder what is in store for my favorite champion and my main . I just wonder if my champion will ever get this kind of spot on the spotlight. Master Yi is often scrutinized and hated by the community just like and sometimes worse than champions such as Riven, Yasuo, and old Akali. i just wanted to know everyones thoughts on this and soon i wanted to ask riot if this would ever be possible even if it was in a few seasons down the line.
