Give Cyberpop Zoe heterochromia too!

I think Zoe's skin is great (Futaba is second-best waifu), but it's missing a little something I feel is one of Zoe's unique features, which are her different-colored eyes). It's not really noticeable in game, probably, but you do see her face in her splash, and the splash's face is your portrait all game

It probably wouldn't be that hard to implement, and I'm hoping to buy this skin whether this happens or not, but it would be pretty nice

Yeah they aren't (at least iirc), for example I heard a while back that skinspots and nb3 got into an arguement on twitter where nb3 was accusing skinspots of getting early access to skins, skinspots said that they just datamined skins. Hope this clears it up for you!

Actually Talon is my main right now and has been for a long time. I want Project Talon too! Sadly I am not on skins team. Champions team made Cyper Pop Zoe, its the first launch skin we made!

Launch skins were always more difficult and time-consuming than most skins because they had to begin before the base champion was locked down and then required a lot of back and forth between teams as the champion was being finished. It was easy to miss things on the skin when we weren't also working on the base, then they'd pop up as problems at the very end. I worked on the launch skins for TK, Jhin, Camille and Xayah (and now Zoe) before joining Champions team and it was something I think we all wanted to address.

So we tried it out, allocated resources and time for the same team that made the champion to also tackle the launch skin. I think it went really well and I think we're going to make it a new standard practice moving forward. It makes sense really as the champ team at that point understand the champion better than anyone else and every time they make a change to the base they can also update the skin so they both turn out top notch.

With VGUs the champions team already handle all the skin updates. It's a lot of work stacked on top of each other, but it's also really fun. I'm looking forward to working on an update to transform some of those older skins into their own cool pieces of the skins thematic puzzle. Like what even is Infiltrator Irelia?

Hey, sorry to hijack that post, but I'll rebound on the Infiltrator comment.

Say I have a TON of questions to ask about Skins, but I'm in no hurry to get answers. What would be the best way to present them to you so you can answer a couple of them when you have some idle time, and get at the pile of it progressively?

A post on the boards? A thread of tweets? Different Asks on Tumblr? Something else?

(P.S.: I'm soooo hyped for the new Skin tab since it appears there is also some Skin lore included!! :D)

I was very peripherally involved with the skins tab stuff. Earlier this year I was on a thematic dev team for skins and one of the goals I had there was to try and get more of the 'Alt Universe's organised into a manageable amount that made sense and provided more storytelling opportunities; Project + Program, who are Battlecast fighting, is Super Galaxy and Star Guardian related or not cuz anime etc.

My understanding of skins tab is that it's primarily for players to organise and view their collection, but there is a secondary opportunity to share a bit of the ideas we have internally about skins and how some fit together - just enough to spark the imagination. I think there is also a goal to further expand upon this in the future, so that lore and grouping might continue to be refined over time.

If you have skins questions keep asking, on the boards, twitter, reddit etc. Sorry I can't commit to answering a big list myself as a) I'm not on skins any more and b) that's not really how I want to spend my free time.

Everything that Kindlejack wrote is correct.

The other thing that made it possible to take on Launch skins is that when we combined ChampUp and New Champion Team into one team it meant we had all of ChampUps know how and outsources to help on making a launch skin as well since ChampUp has been making skins for along time whenever they do VGUs

Just picture it, Reav3:

A hooded figure looms silently atop a neon-lit skyscraper. Below, a dystopian cyberpunk city lies awake, guarded by the robotic sentries of Program.

One of the sentries turns a deserted corner. With a bladed leg, she sweeps the area in search of PROJECT: Talon, but finds only a knife in her back as the assassin dives from his perch on the roof and eviscerates her mainframe.

Overhead, another threat approaches. A mechanized raptor-drone surveys the skies; Talon attempts to dodge out of its sight, but hears an alarm as the drone descends upon The Blade’s Shadow in a hail of missiles.

Immediately, Talon deploys his biokinetic cloaking device. He disappears in a flurry of smoke and data, whirling around and making for the drone’s neck. The drone then dives away from Talon, reforming into a woman. This is no mere Program lackey — it is a G/netic unit, PROJECT: Quinn.

Quinn vaults, her visor lowering as The Blade’s Shadow goes for her throat. She spots him through heat-seeking lens, Valor’s lasers analyzing him and penetrating through his cloaking device. Quinn then aims her bowgun at Talon’s chest, and the two clash as Program wardens surround them in hordes.

Games like Jet Set Radio and Splatoon have a funky 'neon urban' style to them that I think is pretty unique. There's a lot of modern style going on, and with Maddy and Zeen working on it I knew it'd turn out really cool.

It's barely noticable. If you're really looking for it, you can see, but i somewhat expected a more drastic contrast between them. Still good work!

For a future zoe skin though, maybe have more vastly different colored eyes (Most instances of hererochromia are blue and brown, from what i've seen :P)

Man, I looked at Zoe and her kit and I thought to myself, "there's no way in hell I'm going to be able to play her, she's just too far out of my element".

But then I saw Cyberpop Zoe and her splash art and this thread and her fucking rambly sine rant when she first moves and thought,

"Fuck it, I will goddamn learn her and I will make her my element."
