someone help plz
i dont wanna go read the comic about varus but i kind of know what happens, can anyone tell me why they thought it would be such a great idea to jump into the pit.

One of the dudes (can't recall which, they looked basically identical) thought that dumping his lover into the pool would heal them.
Not sure why he jumped in as well instead of just caber-tossing the other guy in.
