Academy Ekko's Timetrail

Okay so, I'm absolutely in love with Ekko. His voice, his design, his lore, idea, and general theme, everything! He's nearly my top-ranked champion, and he's definitely my most played. Sandstorm Ekko (Fantastic skin, love the Prince of Persia reference) was one of the first skins I bought, and I recently (as in, today as of writing) got Academy Ekko.

But there's one thing about the skin that just annoys me to no end! In the splash art, Ekko's Timetrail is green. Good idea, nice change, matches the skin. In-game, however, the Timetrail and all the particle effects are blue! Why is this? I'm no modeler/coder/anything to do with gaming, but surely it's not THAT difficult to make an in-game model match the splash art? It's really minor in the grand scheme of things, but it's really annoying and frankly, quite jarring. Am I the only one bothered by this? Is it at all possible to ask or petition to get this changed? Because it would just make playing with the skin a whole lot more fun.
