Bandle City?

Is Riot still planning on using the old Bandle City history with the Mothership and all? It would mess with many things I feel if they "removed" the Mothership. I feel the Mothership did define a few characteristics of the yordles (i.e. the mechanical side of yordles) and mess with some side stories too. Such as rivalry, Veigar and Teemo are only rivals because of the Mothership incident.

I don't know, I've just been thinking about it lately. Seeing they're updating lore and removing any aspects of the League and Institute of War...
