Wouldn't it be better for the lore if Riot outsources it?

Looking at some other franchises such as Alien and Warhammer, they outsource their lore and story to other people and companies, which makes it so that fans can regulary get their dose of lore.

Riot on the other hand, rarely and sporadically puts out some short stories (that I really enjoy), and it would be great if they could regulary put out some stories and advance the lore. But it appears that Riot's internal resources are directed elsewhere, with their main focus and priority being the game itself.

The Freljord thing is still unfinished, Noxus and Demacia hasn't gone anywhere Shurima might get some developments now, we still haven't seen Graves and TF ever since BT, Piltover and Zaun isn't as fleshed out as they could be etc. Too many hanging threads, a big backlog of lore.

And we see many succesful franchises like the ones I mentioned above, as well as the Warhammer universe and D&D having their stories and worlds fleshed out by people external to the main company.

I mean, sure it would be great if Riot could internally increase their quantity of lore production, but it doesn't seem likely that they will do that.

So do you think it would be better if the lore was outsourced to other producers?
