Anyone else ready for the Star Guardian hype to die?
I get people like it, but I have been so sick of hearing about it. Anyone else?

For me, it's less about wanting the Star Guardian hype to calm down & more about wanting to move on to the next thing & see what's that is about. Don't get me wrong though. Being an anime fan, I enjoy the overall theme of the skinline. I like their designs, though there aren't really any must-buys in this year's batch (there are some interesting ones though: Ahri, Syndra & MF) & I will likely play the hell out of the new gamemode.
But.........I'm just more interested in future skins.
I just want my damn Star Guardian Soraka and Syndra skins damnit. Maybe MF too Lol.
Yes, I'm not into anime stuff and don't love any of the champs they've made the skins for so the hype is really annoying, skins are fine, a map and bunch of merch is a bit much, I have a feeling riot will keep milking it and make even more skins
without sounding like an Edgelord, the harrowing is more my kind of thing since I love the shadow isles so I'm hoping we start seeing content for that soon-ish
Well if Riot hadn't put it in the patch notes (after having already hyped it) and then not release the skins until 2.5 weeks later....
I'm fine with most of the skins, I just prefer the old ones that were just magical girl skins. These ones are like: "hey, you know those skins you liked? We're flashier and cooler! We've got wings and fancy hair! We're so much cooler!"
Like, I like Syndra and MF's skins, but the others range from okay to PURGE THE SIN FROM THIS EARTH.
I like OG's better, is the real takeaway I guess.

The hype is so high because Riot has been dangling the skins in front of the people who love these champions for about a month. I've played Ahri since season 4 and I've been hyped only because I've been waiting about a month for a skin. :)
