Reading Aurelion Sol's story made me excited at the possibility of discovering who the mastermind behind the void incursions is. And the void god capable of warping reality to such a degree. Then it made me think of 
saying "Daddy coming". Is this entity going to be the next champion? Is it what Kog Maw calls its "Daddy"?
Kog'maw was made LONG before any of this lore was - that includes his voiceover. It was something at the time that was just intended to be ominous. Whether or not Riot decides to go with it is something else entirely.
Yeah I also think it might be the thing that kog'maw describes as his dad.
Also seeing how Aurelion sol is gigantic and extremely op in the lore,I think there is actually a chance for kog'maws dad to become a champion.
Considering that Aurelion is the one that gave life to stars, and basically embodies the idea of light (and life itself i guess?) it comes with no surprise the idea of a similar being completely opposed to him, bent on devouring everything. "The greater the light, the biggest the shadow it casts"
