I've actually seen a lot more people say Riot did a good job at keeping the basic ideas the same while adding more detail. I'd have to agree with them; Riot's lore team is amazing!

This batch of Lore Reworks is probably not too much at risk of causing that. None of these characters had huge shifts in their stories, like Taric or Janna. They feel like more fleshed out versions of their old selves, perhaps with changes to their origins, but the same current states and personalities.

It's a testament to how clean it was that the board did not flood with twenty-five topics about Ahri immediately.

They already complained about Ahri and Wukong....

To be fair there are cases like Janna.

I kind of like how they are connecting nami and diana

But that aside, you have to agree... Jinx's lore was disapointing

Well, I mean, if you don't want people to complain about stuff they like, then ONE solution to the problem could be to possibly refrain from deleting said stuff they liked. Maybe.

Galio's an excellent example of deleting something and replacing it with something entirely unrelated, thus negating the need to delete the original in the first place. That kind of stuff can make people bitter. Even about completely unrelated future lore changes. It totally worked on me when they did redid Viktor. I mean, kind've. I think I didn't like Riot's lore output before that.

Look, the POINT IS: fanning the flames is silly. People have every right to not like stuff. And to express that view. Until they're banned from the forums, anyways. I would kill for some content not quite to blatantly marketed at younger audiences, myself. League's lore totally appealed to me back during Vik's release, y'know?

There's a serious lore direction discussion here, somewhere. I swear.
