Vlad wants his own empire, Swain is 'leading' Noxus to a better future to fight some unknown enemy, one is near-immortal age old darkin blood magic user, the other is a demonic soul magic user and a master tactician/war general. In a 1v1 which may happen both politically and in terms of power who would win? who would be a better leader for Noxus/new vlad empire?
Vladimir is far more powerful magically, for sure, but Swain is unlikely to meet him on the battlefield, and is a more cunning and shrewd politician. Not to underestimate Vladimir, but he's very impulsive, prone to mood swings, and homicidal, which isn't exactly ideal for ruling a kingdom (if you'll recall, he was revered as a bloodthirsty god, not a respected ruler). Politically, it'd be like comparing Caligula to Augustus.
Swain is of course better for the future of Noxus, no one in Noxus can replace him about the leadership. And I'm siding with Swain again in a 1v1 because if only the second in command is stronger than Swain, why are they still sending assassins? Leblanc and Vladimir can bust in and kill Swain if that's the case. Swain has to be a threat that can't be thrown by an indiviual, that's why Leblanc tries to take him out by assassins, by a sneak attack. It's either by that, or a full fledged war.
I just wonder how demon power compares to blood magic, at least blood magic wielded by a "mere" human like Vlad. I feel blood magic used by a Darkin is blood magic used at its highest potential. And we still don't know how strong demons can get, power wise.
Sure would be an awesome battle tho
We have little knowledge on Vlad's capabilities, so its an unknown. We kind of have vague knowledge, but nothing 100% solid to compare him to Swain with. Gut feeling says Swain because he's one of the leaders of Noxus and if Riot ever had them fight, I'm 99% sure Swain would win because he's one of the main characters in Noxus.
