Theory for Star Guardian Ahri ♥

Alright, I'm just another fan girl patiently awaiting the New Horizon Star Guardain skins to arrive 9/7.

After drooling over Star Guardian Ahri on the PBE, I have a theory. So, the lore basically confirmed that Ahri had a previous team that she lost before her team with MF, Raka, Ez, and Syndra. We know that MF was also apart of the original team, as her bio confirms. If we are going to assume that each group of star guardians has members of five, Ahri and MF being two members from the original group, then that leaves three members lost from the original team. Here's where my theory comes in. When you activate Star Guardian Ahri's Fox-Fire, minty green, dark blue, and bright yellow stars float around her until they are launched onto the nearest target. This always stood out to me, because SG Ahri has a very pink/peachy aesthetic. I feel as if the colors were carefully chosen in her W to represent the colors of her fallen teammates.

I'd be happy to hear feedback from the community or other ideas anyone might have, these are just some thoughts of mine about my new favorite skin. ♥ [slayer-jinx-catface]

What if the original teammates were those from the Academy skin line? Ok the champs don't fit the theme but at least they all go to highschool together.

Interesting idea, but I think a simpler explanation would be that they were just looking at ways to make her more colorful. The numbers adding up would just be a coincidence. Ahri's always had three orbs; designers seemed to settle on five for SG team size in the last round of skins. When designing this round, if they decided to have one of Ahri's teammates be one of the original veterans, then they've gotten to three unknown original teammates by chance.

I was writing a wholllleeee lot of words but I accidentally exited the tab. Smh. So lemme just TLDR my ideas.

  1. The yellow fallen star - Leona. Makes sense because the sun is apart of her lore. And the sun is known as a really big star. Would be nice to have another tank other than Poppy.

  2. The other two fallen stars left from Ahri's old team are green and blue. We can just assume that they'll be female champs, although there's a slight chance for more male SG skins in the future because of Ezreal's skin.

  3. Although this might not make very much sense at all, if we look at the skins RP-Wise, there are 2 - 1820 skins. Ahri and Jinx. Okay, yeah the only thing that doesn't make sense is Jinx being in there with Ahri's original team. Even though they're on different teams, they're still Star Guardians nonetheless. If we look at the fallen stars, there were three. My theory is that they probably got captured by their enemies while on a mission, and went into a different dimension. But in reality, Ahri thinks that they are dead and won't return, which is why her thoughts on being a Star Guardian are really dark. And upon their return, these new skins come out on LoL. This would then make a complete 1820 skin line.

  4. A possible First Star Urgot, memed by almost the entire community. The community won't stop until it happens. And even when things do happen, they find other things to complain about. "but Graves can't have his cigar?" etc... Although Ahri addresses Urgot in the video below, there could still be a chance: "For the last time, the sparkles are for Star Guardians!"

EVERYONE ALWAYS ASSUMES THE YELLOW STAR IS LEONA!!! IT WON'T BE! Riot will get SHIT ON if they make another Yellow Leona skin... Leona only has yellow themed skins, she will not receive another i GARENtee that... -.- The Yellow Star is 95% probably Taliyah... it matches her very well, and it's nearly Canon that Taliyah will be a Star Guardian... Taliyah would make the best Yellow/Orange/Peach Star Guardian~ (also i know this is old but idc i have no sanity and search star guardian stuffs~)

It's been two years but you were absolutely right, Blue was Xayah's gem and Green was Rakan's, from what lore we currently have (it might not be canon yet) Xayah was corrupted by Zoe and Rakan couldn't bear to leave her so he willfully faded away with her, Neeko was the yellow one and apparently just hid to survive and everyone thinks she's gone
