scorched earth xerath passive colour

i found out that when xerath autoattack while he has his passive up, he gets those blue sparkles like if he was hit by enemy with muramana toggle. can colour of the hit be changed to lava/orange since scorched earth xerath is 1350rp skin? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PyNwyy7u7Gc&t=1m32s

It's blue because it gives back mana, which is blue.
