A theory for the future of League lore.

(This has plagiarized typing and I apologize for it ) With Sylas becoming to be, the lore of Demacia might change. Sylas was able to escape due to him being able to manipulate Luxanna (Lux) by giving him the original writing of Durand. In the writings had the details of Durand's work with petricite.

Through the writings, Sylas discovered that Petricite didn't suppress magic, but absorb it.

 Sylas seems to have the ability to sense magic and absorb magic as well. When shackled by big petricite shackles, he wondered if he could release all the power within the petricite, but all he needed was a magic source, which was Lux.
 
 Lux's family found out about their bond and arranged for Sylas to be hanged. As Sylas's head was in the noose about to be tightened, Sylas managed to touch against Lux with the chains of the shackles, and released the stolen magic to be set free.

Sylas traveled the kingdom of Demacia in secret, while having a growing group of exiled mages, they all had a common goal: to topple the throne, and demolish the oppressive system.

 My theory? A possible civil war. The Mages were born Demacian and raised Demacian until exiled because of their affiliation with magic. A whole group of mages lead by a person who knows how petricite works will be a problem for Demacia's army. There might be a riot to abolish this whole law for the people born with an affiliation with magic. 

 Another possible thing that might happen is Lux running away from Demacia because she knows it is her fault that Sylas was able to be freed.
