2 Questions About Jhin,

The Letter H··4 votes·4,063 views

One, why does Jhin only say certain special interaction quotes with the High noon Jhin skin? I'm very curious, is there a reason, like high noon Jhin is actually Jhin rather then just a random outfit thrown onto him or a alternate dimension version of him? (like project Yi isn't really Yi. [Though I might be wrong :/]) Is it him at a certain point in time/outside the league? Cause with that skin he says multiple things to certain champs When he kills them with ult that he doesn't say with his default skin.

Two, I already know that there are some important lore between Jhin, Shen and Zed coming out soon but what are his relations with Garen, Sona and Vi? Why'd he "Kill" Them?

That's all I have to ask. Hope a rioter replies .3.

EDIT: For those of you don't know those special quotes, here they are:

When killing an enemy Teemo with ult as High Noon Jhin "I like the way you die, boy."

When killing an enemy Noxian with Ult as High Noon Jhin "Kill Noxians and get paid for it? What's not to like?"

When killing an enemy Yasuo with Ult as High Noon Jhin "It's fun to kill a man. To take all that he had, and could ever have."

The high noon quotes are all referencing famous westerns. (Normal Jhin has 16 other pop-culture quotes)

Lore will be released soon. Re: Shen and Zed.

The other champs are not 1-1 with lore. But are how Jhin would like to artistically collaborate with those champs.

Buy your phrasing of that do you mean that both of them we be getting lore or that jhen's lore will involve both of them

Well Shen's lore was getting updated with his rework anyway. It'd make sense for them to also redo Zed if they're redoing Shen, and considering Jhin's ties with the both of them, but new Shen lore is pretty much guaranteed at this point.

uhm, I'm all on board of getting lore updated, but in this case, since you're touching on shen, it feels like he's overshadowing the other 2 ninjas on league of legends :/ I mean, by updating Shen shouldn't you guys touch on Akali and Kennen too?

Maybe the whole Kinkou triumvirate is no longer a big deal? I mean, they could be 3 legendary ninjas that occasionally work together but it's not really THE rule... Either way I love Kennen and I'd love to see what direction you're gonna be taking him.

This is understandable but would you mind explaining why Battlecast Vel'Koz has more champ-specific lines than his base? Always wondered

Shooting Garen through the heart and telling him about kat :T first TahmKench then Illaoi and now flipping Jhin. Is their relationship that well-known or are those champs all psychics? and if so then why everyone knows about it but garen and kat aren't official... haven't read their lores but i'm sure they haven't even come to terms with how they feel about each other.

I think those quotes are references to a western movie(was it djangho?I dunno),its not impossible for some skins to have some unique taunts/jokes(mecha kha'zix has them and bc-vel'koz too, though those of Bc-vel'koz look to me like they were originally planned for regular vel'koz...)

For the second one: Jhin knows of the existence of these 4 and thats merely how he'd imagine their deaths,he hasn't killed them and currently might not even want to kill them.

  1. They are all quotes from classic westerns (Though Django is technically a "southern").
  2. We'll figure out when his lore comes out, it is looking like it was just a stunt riot pulled to garner hype, but we'll see.
