ICYMI Rioters from the Kayle and Morgana team hosted a QA on Reddit. And here are some bits I picked out but you could view the rest of the answers and sources in the doc linked above

  • Kayle in currently on a mission to find out what happened to her mother and Jellbug believes she was able to reach the land beyond Targon Prime

  • Morgana is currently hanging around the outskirts of Demacia and rectifies wrongs she sees fit

  • Kayle has a horrible way of dealing with her mistakes, she suppressed her feelings and there's a side of her that fears that what she was did wrong and that she's becoming a monster

  • Kayle's view of justice is very by the law, she believes all crime deserves punishment relative to the scale of the crime, very eye for an eye, and once you are punished you exhumed from your crimes

  • Morgana's view of justice is more nuanced, she believes it depends on the persons intent. She believes that people who did commit crimes deserve to be fully punished for their crimes and that pain and suffering are crucial to reformation

  • Kayle's worst quality is her self righteousness and her best quality is her idealistic nature to deal real good and protect the innocent

  • Morgana's worst quality is her inability to let go of past mistakes and her best quality is the empathy she feels for all

  • Mihria's swords falling from the heavens don't necessarily signal her death, don't trust offscreen deaths, but would mean something significant has happened to her and she needs her daughters' help

  • Kayle and Morg still love each other despite their emotional baggage and would require humility from both parties to make up or a common foe

  • Kayle has issues with Demacia's current state of affairs because she believes they twisted her original ideas to an extreme and there's Sylas running amok

  • The reason why Kayle has lighter armor is because they wanted to read more like a squishy champ

still can't get over this reason, she doesn't have lighter armor she has no armor around her abdomen.

not to mention plenty of tanks don't look like tanks and plenty of squishies have armor but well it's fighting a losing battle clearly

This makes me feel better about Kayle’s character, if she can identify Demacia as not so just right now, she at least has common sense. Being in denial about whether or not she is right sounds like it could be ok. Perhaps I was wrong to be pessimistic on whether or not I would like her. Still waiting on a story featuring her to confirm this though.

The rest is pretty cool.

I'm glad they are trying to make Kayle less than a Judge Dredd on steroids but I still find annoying how, in the end, Justice by the law (and idealistic thinking of defending the innocents) makes you a monster while being a dark witch of pain because Justice is personal makes you, somehow, the better one.

I'd like to see an episode between them where Morgana is objectively wrong and doesn't do anything to make it right while Kayle follows the just way of action and thinking. This is the only way to make them walk on the same ground.

My question keeps staying the same... Are Kayle and Morgana actually free from the conscious of the Aspect of Justice? Are they embodying that value in a personal way and are thus free for Targon's "grip"?

The lack of Kayle's armor is just ironic when she's wearing it in other skins lmao
