Day:1648 (4years 6 months and 4days since last skin.) Even ivern has gotten a new skin same with udyr. Ivern went about 3 years without a skin and he is by far one of the least played champs in the game (.73% pickrate on op.gg) Ill post daily with updated stats of least played champs till things change. EdgeLady3 votesTo be fair, Skarner is very high priority for a rework, and might very well be on the next poll. But Xerath, on the other hand...he's perfectly fine in every way. Even his abilities are entirely very simple and straightforward particle effects. There's no practical reason why he shouldn't have a skin.
QMighty2 votesI don't think the rework argument even applies anymore. Fiddle just got a skin (last?) year when he was at the top of the list, same for Mundo right at the end of the year. Kayle got Pentakill just a year and a half before her rework and Ezreal got that IG skin a couple months before his. They just use that as an excuse. (not criticizing you btw just Riot and their dumb non-philosophies)

It depends on the champion's kit in question though, and how much it'll have to be redone for a rework. With all those champions, they'll probably just have particle effect abilities again, as they do now. But with Skarner, he has his whole spires to be redone on his skins, and who knows what else could be added in his rework. As he's a map-based champion at his core, including in his lore where the earth is everything to him and his species, I'm guessing he might have a lot more tough abilities to redo once he does get reworked.

Yeah, that and some unpopularity I think, but that's why Xerath baffles me. Not only does all of his kit consist of particle effects, but easy, straightforward particle effects nonetheless. But yeah, model reworking is why some champions that you wouldn't think would be avoided for skins are, like Zyra and Taliyah. It's also probably why Ivern's skin, while a funny theme, wasn't even as well done as it could be. He needs two big models to work on, Daisy and his bushes, and he also needs other particle effects for Daisy (this is also why Annie skins are easier to make; Tibbers doesn't need particle effects).

Replaced by another Karma/Jhin skin... It's good to see people like you that still thinking on the characters that really needs a GOOD skin...
