Is this the official Noxian Crest/Symbol?

I ask because I'd like to have SOME form of confirmation regarding this design, as I am getting my sleeve finished of various game insignia's. I want to know if this is FOR SURE the OFFICIAL Noxian crest before I tattoo it permanently on myself as a part of my collage of game work. If it isn't, is there anybody who could direct me to the true symbol? I have an appointment set up next week, so the sooner I hear back from somebody (preferably some sort of rioter with just a 'yes it is' or 'no its not') the better :)

Very cool - the Noxus crest would make an awesome tattoo, IMO.

We do actually have a slightly updated version of the crest. It's not yet gone public, but we'd love you to have the most updated version - keep an eye on your inbox, and we'll get it over to you.... and we'd love to see the final result! :)

That certainly seems to be the contemporary (in out-of-game terms) symbol of Noxus. It replaced the symbol on Riven's shoulder guard when her splash art was replaced and textures updated and appeared prominently during the Sion update as well.

Originally Noxus was associated with this symbol, or some variation of it, but it seems to have very much fallen out of fashion of late. Understandable given that's it's overcomplicated and a bit unnecessarily evil really.

No offense, but aren't lol symbols a bit risky to tattoo in the midst of their retcons? Even then, I'm sure they update those symbols every now and then.

Pretty much. Axe iconography is common in Noxus but THAT ONE is THE axe.

Considering it is portraited on a lot of Noxian related artworks like for example on the flag near Sion's tomb monument, Riven's Shoulderpad and other art. So yes, we could safely assume this is Noxus official crest.
