Anivia is one of my favorites so I wanted to ask about whether or not any upgrades were on the way. :3 For example splash art/dialogue etc. One specific thing I've noticed is that her animation with Homeguard is a little ridiculous. She flaps her wings way too fast in my opinion. I would just love to see her soar like the beautiful, elegant Cryophoenix that she is.
I absolutely agree that she deserves the love. It's all a matter of what they can do with her rig though. Also, her lore could use some love too!
Her animations should look somewhat like Blackfrost Anivia's animations, IMO. The abilities particles need to be renewed as well, and while the texture update did make her look better, it's just not enough- She could use a better model as well. And the splash, of course, needs an update. :P
Anivia has a really outdated model, so updating it will likely require a sion-level VU (updating the entire rig). Also, Ao Shin is supposed to be released this year, with a "true flight" mechanic. Maybe they are holding off on updating Anivia so they can make use of this flight mechanic on her as well. It would make sense that a bird could fly after all
