Issues with my launcher

So before Jihn and the "Shen dashes into live" patches I could open the launcher, click launch, and the game would actually launch. Now I click launch, I get the two accept messages, and then the launch bar goes gray and just sits there. It never pulls up the login screen, I have even taken steps to uninstall league completely and reinstall only to have the same issues. I can't even use the launcher repair function because it just simply does nothing, the launcher never starts the repair process. As of this post I am reinstalling the launcher and updating it, but if anyone has had similar problems or has any advice let me know please. If nothing works, looks like I'll be going to Heroes of Storm. It works, I love the Blizzard champions, and if I get bored I can just go play Starcraft II.

If anyone can give me some help as to how to fix this problem I would appreciate this, personally this game makes too much money for this simple shit to be happening anymore. If league was a year old I'd give it some leeway, but this, this is inexcusable.
