Kindred Login Sheet Music!

nightsharks·Oct 7, 2015·5 votes·19,949 views

I'm working on transcribing Kindred's login theme sheet music for piano and cello! I know Ed the Conqueror is in the process of proofing and finalizing the official Rito version, but I got impatient and wanted to start learning it myself...that's what happens when a song is especially well written!

It's still a work in progress, but hopefully I'll have it more or less done by the end of the week!

EDIT: It's now completed! I may do some minor edits on dynamics and articulation but i'm 98% sure that the notes are on point. Enjoy!

Well, StarcutterZero, kudos to you, you're dangerously close!

It's absolutely thrilling when our players bless us by putting so much work and effort into figuring out the madness we come up with. And Kindred is no small feat!

I'm in the last few rounds of reviewing the sheet music before posting it here on the forums. Thanks for your patience and thanks for playing our game!

gasps senpai noticed meeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! summoner 31 coughs and regains composure I don't transcribe everything I hear, but honestly this piece impresses me so much because it's haunting, chaotic, and quite catchy. You've probably heard an overwhelming amount of feedback already, but I can't think of a better debut composition and I can't wait to see what else you've got for us!

I checked out the final version of your transcription - congrats, it looks amazing! Valiant effort, here.

Thanks for liking the music!

So that's what it looks like all neat and tidy...! Thank you for your support, transcriptions are good practice for my ear and this is the second one I've ever completed, more or less :)

Praeco mentioned on Reddit that it would be released before the end of October, iirc. I just wanna see if I can beat Riot to it xD

Honestly you probably could lol I know that I'll personally want to compare the two to see how close you got to the original

I was a few days ahead, but I have a bunch of factual errors (the most glaring one being time signatures), more than a few note errors (i.e. around m34), and it's lacking overall notation marks (dynamics, etc.)

Oh believe me, I know how hard it is for music to be written and especially transposed and all of that fun stuff, you've just gotten very, VERY far and that's really great. I remember when I tried to put Nami's theme on paper... It got 6 measures of the melody and was never touched again Regardless of how close or far it may be from the original it's still something to be proud of :)

Good work, bro! In the follow weeks, there should be an increase in popularity to look for this.

Ed finished the official version, the link is in a comment above :) It's a ton clearer, more accurate, and easier to understand than mine so you should probably use his! This was just a fun project for me and a training exercise for my ear.
