Holy **** Riot Music Team: Engage in IP Theft Much?...

The music for Bilgewater event; especially Gangplank's Login music, IS A DIRECT KNOCKOFF OF THE STARZ MINI-SERIES "BLACK SAILS" MAIN (INTRO)THEME. Even the vocal parts are nearly identical...

For comparison purposes:

Generic pirate music is going to sound similar to other generic pirate music.

The rhythm (drums, instrument selection, the like) parts maybe so... but not the melody. I would suggest you listen to both and you would understand it so better.

Apologize for my lack of internet randomness knowledge... but if "cs" stands for "creep score" then I am not following your logic.

If you are thinking that the comparison isn't the same or something... go to each site I linked don't use the inbuilt player as the apps don't always work with browsers (I have problems with IE for instance). Instead goto the time periods I indicated and it will make sense alas...

I actually overlapped the two, and honestly I mean, the instrumentation is obviously similar, but they're quite different.

As long as the melody is approximately the same as a reasonable person could determine they are legally violating copyright laws. Granted what is "reasonable" is what lawyers make their lives off of however even yourself admitted "they are similar, if not only the instrumentation". Yes there are differences such as which instruments, the people in the choir, the like but alas the melody is the same.

Its like the stupid legal debate over the "happy birthday" song. You can "jazz it up" all you like but they is still going to go after you nonetheless.

saying they're similar enough to be infringing on copyright based on instruments alone is like saying all country music is infringing on the copyright of other country music because they all sound the same.

Lol first of all, all county music doesn't "sound the same" but that is another debate.

I am not saying the instrumentation is the same in both per se... I am saying the melody that the instruments are playing is the same.

Look IDK if your just trolling this thread but alas if you cannot understand this IDK what will make this point clearer.
