Can Riot write what DJ Sona is saying?

Derenik··3 votes·6,065 views

Hi, I love DJ Sona and her voice goes great with the music, but can't really hear what she is saying, which I assume is intended. So could Riot or someone else write what she's saying? :)

Thanks!

The voice over is literally things that her base model already says, mixed with other stuff, all remixed together to make sounds. It's not intended to actually be words that you can write down. It's meant to compliment the music.

Technically her base model speaks English words and is legible... so as long as u matched up the new ones to the old ones it should be possible to decipher this...

I reported this issue in PBE; I told them that you can't hear a bloody thing DJ Sona is saying.

Riot either didn't listen or didn't care.

It's intended that you can't hear it, but I just want to know what she says, heh.

That's a full list of her quotes. It's not that you can't "hear" her, it's that it's intentionally unintelligible. They chopped up the audio and rearranged the fragments in addition to the added distortion effects.

Say the phrase, "League of Legends." Now imagine that a recording of the sounds you just made has been separated into 5 parts:

  • Lea | gue of | Le | g | ends

These parts have now been reordered, with two of them in reverse:

  • Le | sdne | gue of | aeL | g

What this might sound like is:

  • Lesdnuh guff eelj

As White Rose13 mentioned. DJ Sona's VO is actually a remixed version of her normal VO with added effects. It's unintelligible, but sometimes you might hear some "words" in there.
