You cant post until you're level 30? Holy shit man, if you want to stop people from spamming you should just moderate the site like how reddit does. Theres already a million people that are level 30 anyways, whats stopping them from spamming. I have an opinion to write, I dont play on this server, why cant I post? By all means use captcha, seriously.

Wait, when did that start? Are YOU serious? If so, that's a terrible way to encourage new players to become active members of the community. Also, where could they then post questions, ask for help, or guidance???

I distinctly remember posting when i was brand new at level 10ish asking for guidance/resources and getting a phenomenal response from the community.

That's just for General Discussion, which is notorious for being home to lots of trolls with lots of smurf accounts. If you have something relevant to LoL then you don't really need to use that board (which you're not, as you're right here posting already).

I've had this account for like 5 years and I haven't really played often until recently, but I've had level 10+ for over a month and for some reason the boards thinks I'm level 5, so I can't comment on some weird design change that doesn't make sense for a competitive game.(you need level 7+ to comment)

As for the spam thing, I think it's more so people don't make brand new accounts and mouth-off, which is extremely common on reddit. If someone wants to say something inflammatory here, they have to consider getting their account, or one of them banned, whereas on reddit they lose internet points that nobody really cares about.
