JSON export

In the regular forums, you can export the Dev Tracker into JSON. Is this planned for the new Community? Howabout regular threads as well?

Reddit has this already, btw.

Yes - we will open this up. I had a concern about doing it too early is if we change any of the JSON structure, but I think we're in good shape to expose JSON, RSS and Atom feeds.

Will that be for the whole forum? Or just the redtracker page?

This is very exciting!

That question is still up in the air. For now, just the Red Tracker.

:+1: for JSON!

Also :+1: for emoticons!

So...there's no link or documentation out for it just yet, but we just opened up the endpoint for redtracker JSON consumption.

Just wondering, but can we get a bit of insight on :

  • badWordReplacements (toggleable curse filter?)
  • banEndsAt (in-game ban?)

I'll make sure to publish some simple usage documentation once it's really ready.

Did this documentation ever get published anywhere?

At the very least, is there a way to go to the next 50 posts?

No documentation published just yet. Right now, the redtracker is merged with content between both platforms, so to get the next page of posts we reference date stamps. You can use the "created_to" query param with a full ISO string of a date.

Ex: "created_to=2014-05-01T06:27:04.958+0000"

A standard page number will be used once the feed no longer merges both vBulletin and "CB" posts.
