Mac Beta - Virtual desktop flipping driving me nuts.

Greetings, I have a Mac, using the Mac Beta (is that what everyone here is using? Not sure, but sorry if newbie in that area, but I'm a programmer of 30+ years so not a newbie in that area.)

I Like/love the game, but the startup is maddening.   I use 16 virtual desktops (doesn't everyone?), Mac Pro with 16 GB of Ram.  

I always play LOL on Virtual Desktop #5.    I have mail, and development on other virtual desktops.  It is great because I can keep everything all neat.

I run LOL, before I login it flips to Desktop 8, I flip back with Cmd/5 (which I have setup to flip to that desktop) , it stays there for about 1/2 second, then flips me to Desktop #2. I flip back. I login, and it sometimes will flip me to another desktop. Of course, when I play the game it goes full screen (Desktop #17, which I can't flip to via a keystroke)

Using a feature of Mac OS, I can assign it to a SPECIFIC Desktop, (right click on the icon for the app (apps?) in the launcher bar (whatever the bar with the running apps is called), and select options => Assign to/This Desktop and let the OS FORCE it to that desktop.

And much to my utter amazement, the app overrides that, and flips it to a (nearly) random desktop.   It seems to have a preference for desktop #8 and #2, I think I started it once on #8, but since then it has always been started on #5.   I now keep that desktop specifically for LOL.

Please fix this is as it is very annoying and very un-Mac to not be able to assign it to a desktop.
