Honestly, it's not typically a good idea to use the code that gets around the launcher block. We disable launcher for very specific reasons, and if you use this to get around the launcher disable, you more than likely are not going to have a good experience (or even be able to get on at all.)

So what you're saying is using the code should an imply a "play at your own risk" disclaimer? I always assumed it was to simply gate the number of log-ins so there wasn't a log-in server swarm when the lock was taken off.

We have more effective ways of actually gating players, mostly things to do with login queues. The launcher disable is there to prevent players from trying to log in and realizing that everything is broken.

The code is for when the client says "undefined", not for when the servers are actually down. Even if you get past the launcher, you still won't be able to log in if the servers are down
