So I was playing a game with my friend. I'm lvl 23 and was going as Jax against a Zed. He pretty much had me at tower all game. After the game (which we lost) we saw he was in plat five. My friend is silver 5 and I'm only lvl 23! What's up with that? Does anyone know how I could get put with a plat 5 member?
Idk. plat5 should not be put with silver 5 and lvl 23 players inless ofc he was a sucky player.......which he won so probs not.

This was normal.
Did you check the levels of the other players on your team? Maybe there was a lower leveled player that was duoing with a plat friend in another lane on your side, and so the system matched up a plat player to even the playing field and you happened to get stuck with him in your lane.
Was he in a party with other people on the enemy team? He likely was playing with lower leveled players as well and that is why you were up against him.
